This is a song that was written and recorded for my “Time & Place” album back in 2017. I like this song, but it just didn’t really flow with the other songs on that album so I had to leave it off.

Somebody once told me that the key to a great marriage is an effort on the part of each spouse to “out-serve” the other. By nature, all people are selfish to an extent… some more than others. Because of this, it is hard to trust each other, even in the closest of relationships. When we strive to put each other before ourselves, that helps build trust that makes everything better for both of us.

I wrote this song for my wife as a reminder to both of us that, regardless of our insecurities, we know each other well enough to know that we’re always there and our love will outlast everything!
