about

Frame of Mind is the fourth solo release by independent a cappella artist, Eric Gwin. The album was released in both CD and download formats on April 19, 2011 exclusively from ericgwin.com. In May, 2011, the album was made available at itunes.

From Eric:

"Frame of Mind, like all of my other solo releases, is a completely a cappella album, with all of the sounds produced by the voice or some other part of the anatomy. The majority of the album has a very rock-oriented sound, but at times it moves into R&B territory.

"I spent roughly 3 years in the studio working on this album. I began with around 40 different song ideas and slowly worked my way down to 18 tracks to record, picking 12 for the final album. The lyrics on Frame of Mind are my most personal to date, covering all aspects of the human condition from depression to love to addiction and beyond."
