Technically this is a gospel song, but really it applies to a lot of different life situations that we all find ourselves in from time to time.

Often, when faced with a challenge, the easiest thing to do is step away and just hope it will go away. We stick our heads in the sand and pretend that everything is alright when really it’s not. Nobody likes dealing with conflict, especially when that conflict falls way out of our comfort zone.

This song is about doing the right thing because it’s right… not because it’s easy. Being willing to stand up for what you believe is fundamental to being authentic. I believe that we should all be doing whatever we can to make each other’s lives better, but that won’t happen if we’re not real with each other.

Tell me the truth. I can take it.
