This song actually began as more of a writing exercise than a song. I was experimenting with a somewhat “circular” lyric structure, where one idea stems from another, which then stems from another, and so on. Based on 1 Corinthians 13 and inspired by the L.A. Riots, this song points out that love is the primary factor in any and every relationship. From love stems hope, then joy, then peace, and then finally we’re back to love.
