Like most of my songs, this one is both a love song for my wife and also a love song from God to us.

When Meloney and I first got married, one piece of advice that I was continually given by more experienced married couples was this: always have time for your spouse. There is nothing more important in a relationship than just being there for each other whenever and wherever needed. I believe this is one of the things (along with our shared commitment to God) that has kept our marriage strong for our now 20+ years.

This song, of course, refers to two primary areas: the time we make for each other, and the special place that we have reserved in our hearts for each other. In the Christian sense, this song is referring to the time that God has spent on each of us, the patience he has with us, and how we all occupy a special place in his heart. It's so wonderful to be loved!
