As an artist, I constantly have to be prepared to answer for the decisions that I make, creative or otherwise. It seems like I have people trying to tell me what I need to do all the time, as if they’re trying to make me into something that I am not. Maybe you’ve been through this same thing.

This song is simply a response to the way some people try to treat me. The bottom line is this: I know who I am, what I am, and what I want to accomplish. Things may not always go as planned, but I know myself and I know what I believe, and it will always work out, as long as I continue to trust in what I know is right. Period.
