David and I wrote the majority of this song one Sunday afternoon. We were just hanging out, David with his guitar and me with my journal. I wanted to write a song that can be taken two ways:

1. As an expression of thanks to God for making me his own, and

2. As an expression of thanks to my wife for allowing me to be part of my life.

These lyrics actually share my love for my wife AND for God. I still can't believe we pulled it off.
