Well, here it is... the fourth and final (as far as I know) song for one of my kids. This was one of the first songs written for this project and it was written specifically for my precious baby girl, Nevaeh, or "Nevy" as we like to call her around the house.

All the songs that I do for my children always have to have a contribution from the child who the song is for. On "Little Angel (Cassidy's Song)", I used Cass' in-utero heartbeat as part of the rhythm track. "Still A Child (Hayley's Song) featured a 2-year-old Hayley singing "Jesus Loves Me" as the intro. "The Future (Eaven's Song)" from this album is introduced by his infectious giggle. For this song, I captured Nevy's sweetness with a "hello" greeting at the beginning and a "bye-bye" at the end... a perfect ending for the record as a whole.

The message of this song is pretty straightforward: After having 2 daughters and then adopting a son, we thought we had everything in a family that we could ever want (sound familiar?), but God had other plans. Now I can't picture our family without our precious little Nevaeh. She is such a sweet little girl with a cute, albeit SASSY little personality. It's amazing the difference that one little tiny person can make. Our world was completely turned upside down with the addition of both Nevy and Eaven, and I can't wait to see what God's gonna do next!

God has blessed me with the greatest family a guy could ask for!
